• Fred Anderson

  CEO

  

  The Anderson Automotive Group operates franchised new car dealerships at seven locations in the Carolinas. The Anderson family has been active in the automobile business in North Carolina since 1948. The company is a top 100 Dealer Group as listed by Ward's and Automotive News.  The Toyota dealership in Raleigh has been as high as the 46th largest in the country and the 8th largest in the southeast.
  
  Fred's father, Andy Anderson, became a Chevrolet dealer in 1955 and bought a second point in 1960. Fred's first dealership was a Chevrolet-Oldsmobile store in Canton, NC. He became the dealer there in 1970 at the age of 21. The Canton dealership was the largest volume GM dealer in Western North Carolina for decades. At its peak the Canton store sold 1100 new units from a town of 3,000 people. Its success provided the capital and people to grow the company.
  
  Fred has served on the Board of Advisors of the College of Management at N. C. State University and at the business school at Western Carolina University. He has served on the Toyota National Dealer Council, the industry advisory panel to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, the Board of Trustees for NCADA's Self Insurers Fund, the Investment Committee for NCADA, and the Board of Directors of NCADA.
  
  Fred is involved in the charitable support of SafeChild, the Walk for Hope, The NC Museum of History and the Boy Scouts of America. The company has supported its communities in many other ways including funding for the Haywood Community Center, emergency relief efforts in several counties and DARE.
  
  Fred earned a bachelor degree from Western Carolina University.

• Jake Lowe

  President

  

  Jake Lowe has established a commendable record over his 35 years in the industry. Jake began in an entry-level position at a new car dealership, and has earned positions of significant responsibility in wholesale and retail organizations. At General Motors, he served in field sales and service positions and later had responsibility for zone marketing and sales management.
  
  Jake has been with the Anderson Group since 1984 and has been a successful managing partner and general manager of several of our dealerships. He graduated from the General Motors College of Service, the General Motors College of Sales, the NADA Dealer Academy, Bell Leadership Institute in Chapel Hill, N.C., and has been a member and leader of numerous NADA 20 Groups.

• Michael Anderson

  Chief Operating Officer

  

  Michael Anderson was appointed COO of Anderson Automotive Group in October 2012.  Anderson Automotive Group is a third generation family business founded in 1955.  It consists of seven new car franchise dealerships in North and South Carolina.  Previous to his position as COO, Michael was the VP of Sales and Marketing.  Michael has also held positions as General Manager of Toyota Center in Columbia, SC, used car manager, finance manager and service advisor.
  
  As Chief Operating Officer, Michael is responsible for day to day operations of the company's seven dealerships. The dealership's General Managers, Variable Operations Director, eBusiness Director and Call Center Manager all report directly to Michael.  He is an internal member of the company's Board of Advisors and is also is a member of the executive management team which oversees all operations, strategy, HR and financial management. 
  
  Michael is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, BA in Management Economics.  In the spring of 2011 he earned an MBA from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University where he was awarded University Top Scholar and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma.

• Dave Hudson

  Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

  

  A CPA, Dave has 30 years of financial management experience in industry and public accounting.  A graduate of The College of William and Mary with a BBA in accounting, Dave started his career in public accounting with Deloitte, Haskins and Sells in Houston, Texas.  From his start as an auditor, Dave rose to become a manager in DH&S emerging business services department. Subsequently, Dave worked for 15 years with a billion-dollar subsidiary of Eastman Kodak headquartered in Durham, N.C.  Dave's final position at that company was senior vice president of finance and administration, as the company's only financial officer. Dave has been with Anderson Automotive Group since 2003 and is responsible for financial management, human resources and information technology.

• Kathe Schwab, SPHR

  Director, Human Resources

  

  Kathe joined Anderson Automotive Group in 2008, bringing over 11 years of human resources and 7 years of operations management experience.  Kathe's career began in restaurant operations management for Pizza Hut, a subsidiary of PepsiCo where she accomplished strong bottom line results while improving customer loyalty and launching new business operations.  Subsequently, Kathe joined The Pantry, Inc. in Sanford, North Carolina where she was quickly promoted from Field Trainer to Human Resources Director.  Kathe's experience with The Pantry includes value add human resources, talent acquisition, acquisition coordination, employee development and risk management.
  
  As the Director, Human Resources for AAG, Kathe is responsible for the formation and implementation of the Human Resources strategy for the Company. She is a member of the AAG executive management team.  Kathe holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Her undergraduate degree, BBA, is from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with majors in Industrial Relations and Industrial Operations Management.  Kathe is a certified Senior Professional Human Resources professional and serves on the board of directors for Triangle Society of Human Resource Managers.

• David Holder

  Controller

  

  David started with Anderson Automotive Group in 2008 assuming responsibility for the accounting functions for the Dealership Group.  Since joining AAG, David has been integral in centralizing the accounting function, streamlining processes and reducing administrative overhead.  David has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience, having held a variety of finance and administrative positions in the banking and security industries.  Before working with AAG, David was the Chief Financial Officer for Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations, the investigation division of Securitas, the largest security organization in the world.   While at Pinkerton, he successfully centralized the accounting function for 37 offices, including 17 international locations. 
  
  David is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, with a Bachelor's of Arts in Finance.  David also earned a Master's of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary.
